Last Saturday, with intense cold, more than 500 people met in the middle of the Argentine Polo Field, in Buenos Aires (Argentina), to create the human ₿ that could be considered the largest in the world, in defense of the pillars and values of the technological and social ecosystem of Bitcoin.
June 10 was the day chosen to celebrate the 10 years of the NGO Bitcoin Argentina with one objective, to make the largest ₿ of Bitcoin in the world and the achievement was resounding, according to the organizers of the initiative.

“We hope this is just the first of several attempts to break this record,” the organizers commented.
“It is a way of showing that Bitcoin is a technology that mobilizes people willing to defend the pillars of monetary freedom, privacy, financial disintermediation, distributed trust and other values of this space,” said Jimena Vallone, director of the NGO Bitcoin Argentina. .
“Despite inflation and new local regulations, this was not an event with a local focus, and that is why we did not block any streets, but rather its objective is to send a message to the world with this image in defense of the pillars of this ecosystem. in times where they are being systematically attacked by abusive international regulations that try to obscure the advantages of these technologies in order to perpetuate financial, monetary and government models that only concentrate power in the state instead of respecting the rights of individual monetary sovereignty and demand for greater state transparency”, said Rodolfo Andragnes, founder of the NGO.

Those present had orange umbrellas. The “EsHoraDeBitcoin” collective that donated them clarified: “These umbrellas represent the role of Bitcoin as a protection against monetary issue and inflation and a protection against the global and inevitable financial crisis, and the orange is for the color of Bitcoin because we wanted an orange ₿ that could be seen from the sky.”
