In a new Cryptonegocios program, hosted by Sergio Fernández Bermejo, Sebastián Oria, Arnau Pintó, Bruno Sanmartín and Sergio Fernández Blanco were present.
Among other things, the program discussed issues related to the current crypto market.
“Today at Cryptonegocios we talk once again about the BRICS, the group of countries made up of Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa, which is at a crucial moment. Rumors arose indicating that Bitcoin could play a key role in the development of these countries,” said the host of the program.
“Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister has stated that about 20 countries are interested in joining the group to seek a common position against the dollar. Since the start of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, this organization has acquired a new potential role as a threat to the hegemony of the dollar, at least that is what Russia and China intend, ”he later added.
“The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that there is great interest in joining the BRICS, and so far, 20 countries have shown their interest. Russia also intends to use this organization as a way to exert international pressure, especially on the United States. Egypt recently applied to officially join the BRICS,” said Sergio Fernández Bermejo.
In addition, he expressed: “This initiative is attractive because the BRICS are looking to change the status quo of the dollar in the international monetary scene. Russia and China have started a new front against the dollar and have led other countries, such as Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela, to adopt the yuan for international trade, reaching adoption records.
Another of the events that they took into account in the program was the information about BlackRock’s intention to launch a Bitcoin ETF.
Binance is also still making headlines as it is being investigated in France.
