A hamburger chain originally from Monterrey, announced the inauguration of its headquarters in Guadalajara with the enablement of payments with cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC).according to a franchise post on their social media where they announce the new feature.
Burgers Mx is the name of the restaurant that has been in the market for three years, with 12 branches distributed in five states of the Republic of Mexico.. It was founded by the Martínez Lastra brothers, together with the renowned international chef Paulo Villareal.
The Burger Mx chain, in addition to offering the possibility of payments with bitcoin, allows customers to use other cryptocurrencies such as Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), USDT (Tether), Ripple (XRP) and Dash to pay their consumption within their facilities.
The chain has also been offering rewards for its customers for a long time in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT’s), which has allowed it to mark milestones in the Mexican gastronomic sector, thus combining culinary art with digital assets.
The Burger Mix offering joins the growing list of business locations in Mexico that have taken an innovative approach by incorporating new technologies, such as decentralized payments through blockchain technology.
