Technical analyst Cheds dreamed of being a trader since he was a child. However, the path he had to travel to fulfill his dream was not easy.
In an episode of Crypto Stories from Cointelegraph, Cheds shared his humble beginnings. According to the technical analyst, he always dreamed of trading stocks since he was a child. He said:
“I loved the idea of buying low and selling high. Playing the market seemed like a great way to get rich enough to buy my own island.”
Despite this, life had other plans. He studied psychology in college and eventually decided to gain experience in sales and marketing, working his way up to senior management at the company he worked for. Although it was not the path he expected, he never gave up the desire to be a trader and did not lose sight of his actions.
Then he was introduced to “penny stocks” and started trading marijuana stocks. According to Cheds, he was able to grow his portfolio until he discovered that the news people were basing their trading decisions on were motivated by headlines looking for a way to sell his stock. He suffered massive losses and decided to take a break.
Over time, Cheds said she was able to come to terms with her situation and it lit a fire inside her. “I had to become a well-rounded trader. The skills I learned studying psychology and poker weren’t enough. I would have to get better at technical analysis,” he said. Thus was born his account on social networks and his blog on technical analysis.
A few years passed and he was finally able to earn enough to quit his day job and realize his childhood dream of being a trader. The following year, Cheds discovered Bitcoin (BTC), ether(ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) through a friend. He began sharing cryptocurrency charts and analysis, quickly growing his social media.
The operator faced a new challenge soon after, when he was diagnosed with cancer. At that time, he accepted his new identity as a cryptocurrency trader. “Instead of focusing on being sick and vulnerable all the time, I wanted to focus on being one of the best technical analysts,” he said.
