The founder and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg has emerged as the clear favorite among bettors in a proposed “cage match” with Twitter owner and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
In the 48 hours since Musk launched the mixed martial arts challenge, sportsbooks and forecast providers have already offered preliminary odds for the billionaire’s bout.
If the fight does take place, Zuckerberg, who has practiced Brazilian jiu-jitsu, has a 77% chance of winning, according to oddspediaa sports betting platform that collects odds from various bookmakers.
Betting $1 on Zuckerberg could net $1.20 if he wins the fight, while betting on Musk could net as much as $4 if he wins.

Zuckerberg, who has a slight height disadvantage at 170 cm, has been known as a jiu jitsu practitioner since September. In May, he placed first and second in two jiu jitsu tournaments in the lightweight white belt division.
His progress even gave rise to reactions positive comments from some of the most influential figures in the Ultimate Fighting Championshipsuch as UFC boss Dana White and former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

Musk, on the other hand, is understood to have a bigger frame and the height advantage, according to he reportedly stood 6-foot-1 (185 cm). Not much else is known about his physical fitness for combat.; however, Musk said recently that he used to get into “very tough street fights” in South Africa, where he grew up.
Also public recently that he eats a donut every morning and is “still alive”in case that changes anything.
“I have a great move I call ‘The Walrus’, where I lie on top of my opponent and do nothing,” I was joking Musk in a June 22 tweet.

Yes that’s me
The conversations about a possible physical fight between Musk and Zuckerberg first surfaced on June 21when Musk said he would be willing to share the cage with the Meta founder.
Zuckerberg responded on Instagram shortly after “Send me the location”a popular phrase first uttered by former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Despite the great expectation, many do not expect the fight to take place, although it is not the first time that Musk and Zuckerberg have faced each other.
In 2017, billionaires got into a heated debate over the artificial intelligence and its future implications.
For his part, Zuckerberg criticized those who believe that AI can create “catastrophic scenarios”, i.e. events that could lead to human extinction or the complete end of life on Earth.
Musk counterattacked:
“I have spoken to Mark about this. His understanding of the subject is quite limited.”
