The Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) announced last week that it was once again notified by the regulators of Ireland and the United Kingdom that new organizations are providing their investment services without complying with the authorization to carry out this activity.
According to bulletin, ten entities in total were mentioned by foreign regulators, with a total of nine from the Irish CBI, and one from the UK FCA.
In this sense, the Ireland CBI, alerted the following entities: Intesasan Paolo Bank SPA (Clone) reported for having cloned details of the entity authorized by BaFin Intesa Sanpaolo SpA Filiale Frankfurt am Mai and even using, among others, the email intesasanpaolo@recovery.legal to contact possible customers; AFEX EU (CLONE) (afexeu.com/) which cloned some of the data of a legitimate company authorized by the Central Bank to deceive consumers; Irish Lends (irishlends.uk); Walsh Money (walshmoney.com); West Empire Private Equity Inc. (westempirepei.com westempirepe.com); Arch Invest Icav (CLONE) (archinvest-icav.com/) for cloning the data of a fund called Arch Investment ICAV, authorized by the Central Bank; Dojo Loan (dojoloans.uk); Bantry Loan Service (bantryloanservice.com/); Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland Limited (CLONE) for having cloned the name, logo and address of the entity warned by the CBI Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland Limited.
Likewise, for its part, the FCA of the United Kingdom alerted of the following: Ternary Group Fx (ternarygroupfx.com).
Likewise, the Spanish institution recalled that the CNMV’s warnings about the supposed ‘financial beach bars’ can be consulted in its Web page, where investors can also address their inquiries to the investor service number 900 535 015, as well as through the inquiry form, and the infringement communication channel.
